I want to use Chinese style to make this set of mockup packaging because it has become more popular in recent years. At the same time, as an overseas Chinese, I am interested in Chinese style colours and elements. I feel that Chinese style is a style that is both exquisite and has a strong history. It can create various new design concepts. Although I cannot say that my design is 100% authentic Chinese style, I have some Chinese style elements.
我想用中国风来制作这组模拟包装因为近年比较流行,同时我作为海外华侨对中国风搭配色以及元素感兴趣,我感觉中国风是既讲究又拥有浓烈历史的风格,它能创造出各种新的设计理念,虽然我不能说我的设计是100%的正宗中国风,但是我有使用一些中国风的元素。

These gifts can make customers into a walking advertisement. Whenever customers use these gifts, they will make others curious and attract new customers to the brand.
这些礼品可以让顾客成为行走的广告,每当顾客使用这些礼品时会让他人好奇以及给品牌引来新顾客群。
These are the inspiration images, the image shows in China Haidilao’s nail salon serves customers to alleviate customers’ impatient queuing. I think Haidilao hotpot is a successful international catering company that pays attention to customer and brand characteristics and dare to try innovative ideas. 
这些是我的灵感图,图中是中国的海底捞美甲部服务着顾客来减缓顾客对排队的急躁心理。我认为海底捞火锅是一个成功的国际餐饮企业,特别注重客户和品牌特色以及敢尝试创新的点子。

The New Year this year (2021) is different from the past. Due to the impact of the epidemic, many traditional catering industries overseas (Canada) face business losses and bankruptcies, and at the same time affect many retail products. The surviving industries are following trends and changing sales methods, such as takeaways and e-commerce.
今年(2021)的新年与以往不同,由于疫情影响,海外(加拿大)许多传统型餐饮业面临生意亏损以及倒闭,而且同时影响了许多零售业的产品。而存活下来的产业都是跟随着潮流以及改变销售方式,比如:外卖和电商。



I originally conceived to design a group of co-branded products for the nail salon of Haidilao, but then I realized that due to the epidemic lockdown, restaurants are now dominated by takeaways, and even nail salon services and mall retail have been forced to close their stores. Nowadays, the most popular daily necessities have become: anti-epidemic products such as disinfectants, hand sanitizers and masks.
When considering a co-branding brand, I thought of Bath&BodyWorks because every holiday in North America, it's product is good choice to buy for visiting others, because it is affordable, and the products are often innovative, suitable for all genders and all ages but unfortunately it has not yet fully enter the Chinese market (now has branches in Singapore, Macau, Thailand, etc.).
Finally, I conceived a series of the most popular and practical products that can be used as gifts for regular customers to make customers happy. At the same time, customers become walking advertisements and the co-branded business forms a win-win situation.

本来我构思着为海底捞的美甲部设计一组联名产品, 但是后来想到由于疫情封锁,餐馆现在都是外卖为主就连美甲店类的服务业和商场零售都被迫关店了。现在时下最热卖的生活必需品竟然成了: 消毒剂,洗手液 和口罩等的防疫产品。
在考虑联名品牌时,我想到的是Bath&BodyWorks因为在北美每当过节都会买这家的产品送人做登门拜访的礼物,因为它价格亲民,产品常常创新,适合男女老少,但是可惜它竟然还没完全进入中国市场(现在有分店新加坡,澳门, 泰国等)。
最后,我构思一系列当下最热门及实用的产品,可以作为老顾客的礼品让顾客开心,同时顾客成为了行走的广告让联名的产业形成双赢的局面。
